I’ve had a good stay! If I ever have to do this again I’m coming back here!

I wanted to let you know how nice the care that Donna has received over the past three years was. When I first had to seek a nursing home, I was told that Medilodge of Marshall was the one to choose. Donna was there for about three months and was able to return home. After a period of time, I could not take care of her at home without additional help, so our family felt that Medilodge of Marshall would be the place for Donna. Of course there is no place like home, but Medilodge of Marshall makes it second best.

I’m very happy with the care you gave me. The best part was the kindness and patience you showed me. My days at home will be much easier for me with the knowledge I gained in therapy.

The therapists that worked with me all did a great job! Lynn Ann worked on my legs, knees, and walking. She showed me how to go up a curb with the walker. Rick also worked on my knees. Julian worked on stair climbing, walking, and my knees. With all of their work, my balance, legs, and knees are stronger and not as painful as they were. They all did their jobs very well.

My wife chose this facility for me when she toured it; she was very impressed with the facility and the private rooms offered. All of my caregivers were very kind to me and helped me on my road to get home.

Carlie was exceptional! All Staff has been great.

The therapy department helped me walk again. They helped strengthen my muscles, improve my balance, coordination and reduce my fear of falling. The people are friendly and helpful. It made me feel young again.

I loved my stay at MediLodge. The physical therapy people really know their jobs. They were very friendly and helpful to me. The physical therapy is aimed at your problem, not applying one thing that everybody is scheduled to do. You can also go and work out on your own time. Occupational therapy is fun too. You do so many things without repeating the same thing over and over. They are kind and friendly when you meet them for your appointment. They work on things that are going to improve yourself. The nurses and the aides are totally there for you too. Your medication was always on time. They take the time to listen to your problems, and they get you to your appointments on time. Dietary was great too. They double-check always to make sure the meals were hot and on time. They asked you what you would like to eat at your meals. Another place I loved was activities. They put out a calendar every month with what’s happening in their section. They have bingo a couple of days a week. Even if you don’t know how to play or have disabilities, they have a helper for you. They have outings like to the library. All kinds of stuff happening to get you involved. With all of these things combined, it really did help me on my road to recovery. Thank you Medilodge of Marshall!
